Oilfield Production Chemicals are a variety of specialty chemicals applied in the extraction and processing of oil and gas to enhance efficiency and optimize operations. HB AF Series are used to prevent foam generation (antifoam) or destroy foam that has already been formed in the oil and gas production system (defoamer). HB AF Series come in various forms, namely silicones/fluorosilicones, polyglycols and fatty alcohols subject to your system requirement.
HB AD Series are used to treat asphaltene stability related issues and ensure the preformed asphaltenes are dispersed in crude oils regardless of thermodynamic conditions change. This will keep the operations running smoothly and minimize the downtime. HB Laboratories offers specific asphaltene dispersant for your system.
HB AI Series are used to prevent the aggregation of asphaltene molecules by shifting the onset of asphaltene flocculation pressure. Thus, they can move asphaltene precipitation and subsequent deposition out of the wellbore to a point in the production system where the asphaltene can be easily dealt with. Testing is required for HB Laboratories to recommend the right asphaltene inhibitor for your system.
HB DE Series are proprietary blends that can assist in improving oil-water separations and consequently, increasing oil and gas production rates. As demulsifiers/emulsion breakers are unique to specific fields, HB Laboratories’ chemical experts will conduct extensive system survey; determine the critical application parameters for product selection, testing of demulsifiers/emulsion breakers with fresh produced fluids and determine the most suitable demulsifier/emulsion breaker and appropriate demulsification program that is able to meet your production challenges.
HB WC Series are specifically formulated to remove contaminants of residual oil, impurities and destabilize oil-in-water to improve the separation operating efficiency and to ensure that the effluent water from the production facilities will be able to meet the discharge regulatory requirements. Each unique deoiler/water clarifier has its strength thus HB Laboratories’ chemical experts will need to conduct extensive system survey, bench scale deoiler/water clarifier bottle testing with fresh produced fluids, determine the most suitable deoiler/water claifier that is best suited for your production system.
Oily sludge from the oil extraction and processing operations and slop oils from waste oil streams are environmental concern for this industry but sludge and slop oils do contain commercially viable residual oils that can give additional revenue. HB Laboratories offers HB SB Series, which is an extensive range of slop oil/sludge breakers that are designed specifically in resolving tight emulsions and improve the recovery of slop oil, waste oil and oily sludge.
HB PPD Series are formulated blends that can control, prevent and eliminate both wax deposition and wax gelling in the production systems. PPDs/Wax Inhibitors are crude specific hence HB Laboratories’ chemical experts will conduct extensive testing of the waxy crude and determine the best performing PPDs/Wax Inhibitors that can affect the wax pour point and wax appearance temperature (WAT).
HB PD Series are blends of solvents and surfactants that are designed to function by adsorbing onto the surface of pipe and reducing the adhesion of waxes to the surface. In addition, they also function to penetrate accumulated deposit of wax, adsorbing on growing wax crystals and enabling them to move freely into the surrounding crude oil, hence reducing wax blockage in your pipelines. HB SI Series are formulated scale inhibitors that inhibit scale formation by interfering with the nucleation process and/or crystal growth of inorganic scales. HB Laboratories’ chemical experts will conduct extensive scale system survey, which includes field production data, operating parameters, brine sample acquisition, water analysis, associated gas analysis (if required), scale predictions and conduct performance testing of scale inhibitors to determine the best scale inhibitor that is appropriate for your production system.
HB DS Series are formulated scale dissolvers/descaler that react, dissolve and remove scale deposits that have formed in production areas and equipment. HB Laboratories’ chemical experts will need to know the composition of the scale in questions so that the right scale dissolver/descaler within HB DS Series can be recommended and tested.
There are typically two types of low dosage hydrate inhibitors, namely kinetic hydrate inhibitor (HB KHI Series) and anti-agglomerant (HB AA Series). Kinetic hydrate inhibitor delays gas hydrate nucleation and crystal growth for a period of time. Anti-agglomerant allows hydrate formation but prevent them from agglomerating by keeping the hydrate crystals in non-sticky slurry that can be dispersed in produced fluids. HB Laboratories provides an extensive range of low dosage hydrate inhibitors as an economical substitution to thermodynamic hydrate inhibitors such as MEG and methanol.
