Oxygen is presence everywhere and for oil and gas production systems, oxygen is a contaminant that results in increased levels of corrosion and can lead to rapid failure through localized corrosion attack. HB Laboratories offers effective oxygen scavengers within the HB OS Series, but the selection of the best oxygen scavenger is driven by the concentration of oxygen present.
The presence of hydrogen sulphide (H2S) in the oil and gas production can pose serious integrity issues and threaten the health and safety of personnel and the environment.
